Painting "The Loper Method" with Thomas Del Porte
Former student of the late Edward Loper Sr., will discuss and demonstrate some of the techniques he uses.
Oil painter Thomas Del Porte, a former student of the late Edward Loper Sr., will discuss and demonstrate some of the techniques he uses to create his paintings during "The Loper Method” workshops at the Biggs Museum of American Art in Dover Sept. 27 and Oct. 4. In keeping with the themes of Del Porte's current work, participants will create a still life using the method. No experience is required. Bring brushes, paints and a small canvas (contact the staff for a full list of supplies) and a brown bag lunch. Tuition is $40 for Biggs members, $50 for others.
