Chat about Delaware’s arts and entertainment scene.

Welcome to Delaware Today’s arts blog, the spot to dish on the many cultural opportunities available to Delaware audiences. We’ll cover as many genres as possible, and note cool events offered by organizations large and small, in all three counties.
There are great things to do this Labor Day weekend.
Ah, we love the Arden Fair. And given the fact that this year marks its 102nd anniversary, we suspect others do, too. Keep your fingers crossed for a good weather day Saturday, September 5 (or Sunday, if it rains), because this year promises to be a nice mix of art, music and kids' activities. As always, stands will be packed with handmade crafts by local artists, and lots of antiques you can't seem to find elsewhere. And the fair offers a glimpse into the wonderfully eclectic and architecturally interesting Arden neighborhood, which is usually quite private. There will also be live music in the Shady Grove, children's rides, food, and an art show featuring local sculptor David Burslem.
All proceeds benefit the Arden Gild Hall, which produces performing and visual arts events year-round, as well as educational offerings.
