Rags to Riches

Question: "Where should I go if I want to sell my good clothes?"

With recycling in the front of everyone’s mind, what better way to get your clothes out of your closet and get even get some "green" back, than to take them to a consignment shop.

My all time favorite is Rags to Riches , located in Centreville and owned by former networking guru Jodi McLaughlin. Her store is one of the best in the area, specializing in designer clothing, shoes, jewelry, handbags and many other accessories. It’s super organized and Jodi is picky, so if she takes your items, there is a good chance they will sell.

Point-to-Point Pointers

Amid speculation of dire weather and to the shock of many revelers, Sunday May 5 turned out to be a fabulous day for the 30^th Anniversary of Winterthur’s annual Point-to-Point. Always being an amazing excuse for men to wear as much plaid and pastels as possible and women to wear the most exuberant hats they can find, we found this year’s revelers proved to be no exception.
