De La Coeur to Reopen Multiple Wilmington Locations

After temporarily closing, the French café announces its return with two new restaurants.

Just last month, we wrote a story informing you that De La Coeur Café et Boulangerie—the sister restaurant to De La Coeur Café et Pâtisserie in Forty Acres—would be relocating. Well, owners Gretchen and Alex Sianni posted a teaser on the business’s Facebook and Instagram pages on Nov. 3, informing loyal followers that the café would soon be reopening in Independence Mall off of Route 202 in Wilmington, a boutique retail complex that features restaurants, salons and upscale shopping.

It looks like the couple will also be opening another location in 2019 at 2000 Pennsylvania Avenue, the luxury apartment complex that is conveniently located near Trolley Square, Greenville and the city of Wilmington. De La Coeur on Grant will also pour La Colombe coffee and serve bakery items, breakfast and lunch.

The anticipated move-in date at 2000 Pennsylvania Avenue is set for June 2019.
