Here's a Simple Way to Contribute to Cpl. Stephen Ballard's Memorial Fund

More than 15 restaurants are participating in Dine Out for the Blue on May 20.

 

If you need a good reason to go out for dinner Saturday night, here it is: The Trauma Survivors Foundation has partnered with several local restaurants to bring you Dine Out for the Blue, a special event that will help support the DSTA Cpl. Stephen Ballard Memorial Fund and the Emerald Society Benevolent Fund for Police Officers. Delaware State Trooper Cpl. Stephen Ballard bravely lost his life on April 26, leaving a wife and young stepchild behind.

Dine Out for the Blue takes place Saturday, May 20, from 4–11:30 p.m. Head to any of the participating restaurants for food and drink specials, Back the Blue wristbands and 50/50 tickets. The wristbands are $5 each and are available at participating restaurants. Proceeds from the sale of the wristbands will go to the DSTA Cpl. Stephen Ballard Memorial Fund. You can purchase 50/50 tickets for a chance to win up to $12,000. Proceeds from the 50/50 will be donated to the Emerald Society Benevolent Fund for Police Officers.
