We love celebrating lighthearted national holidays—especially when they give us an excuse to indulge in delicious foods and beverages. And fortunately, we aren’t the only ones. Chesapeake & Maine is celebrating National Cocktail Day (March 24) by debuting its spring cocktail list and offering special happy hour pricing on brand-new concoctions. Menu staples like the Salt & Pepper Cup (made with Whole Leaf Gin, cucumber, fresh-squeezed lime juice and simple syrup) and Bierre-Hatten (made with Bulleit Rye, World Wide Stout Marron Bierremouth and Immort Ale Bitters) will remain—but will also be joined by a plethora of tastebud-tingling favorites.
The same evening, Chesapeake & Maine is hosting its Pre-WOCAAW Dinner, where six items on a chef-inspired tasting menu will be paired with handcrafted cocktails. The dinner kicks off Dogfish Head’s annual Weekend of Compelling Ales and Whatnot, and is limited to 20 guests. The price is $85, and reservations are required.
