Kennett Square Keeps Getting Cooler

A pop-up beer garden opens for the summer.

As if we needed another reason to venture to Kennett Square. The Creamery, a new pop-up beer garden, is now open at the site of a century-old dairy facility.

The Creamery features plenty of craft brews, such as Allagash, Great Lakes and Victory, that pair perfectly with their small plates (fries, marinated mushrooms) and hearty sandwiches. Food trucks will also be in rotation, including Hood’s BBQ and Punk’d Pineapple.

The Creamery is kid-friendly, with a section filled with pint-size tables, benches and crayons. Guests can also enjoy live music while playing games of bocce, Jenga and corn hole.

The beer garden is open Thursday–Sunday, from 5 p.m.–10 p.m. on Thursdays, 5 p.m.–midnight on Fridays, 1 p.m.–midnight on Saturdays and 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Sundays.
