Keep Cool at the New Castle County Ice Cream Festival

Don’t miss a weekend of family fun at Rockwood Park.

The New Castle County Ice Cream Festival, widely considered Delaware’s largest family picnic, will return to Rockwood Park June 25–26 with delicious ice cream and food, live music and plenty of activities for the kids.

Expected to draw an average of 10,000 to 12,000 guests per day, the festival is bringing back the popular “Best Sundae on Sunday” competition among ice cream vendors, live music on two stages, a children’s area filled with animals, games and entertainment, and a diverse selection of crafters and local businesses displaying their products and services.

The festival is sponsored by the county government and produced by Barry’s Events.
