The Seventh Annual Delaware Burger Battle Returns

Does your favorite kind of sandwich come on a soft roll, oozing with meat, cheese and other delectable toppings? If you answered yes, then the seventh annual Delaware Burger Battle is where you need to be on Saturday, Aug. 25. This battle royale returns to the grounds of the Cauffiel House, where some of Delaware’s most competitive chefs will compete for fame and glory in three categories: critics' choice, alternative burger and people's choice.

- Food Bank of Delaware
- Maiale Deli & Salumeria
- Metro Pub and Grill
- Redfire Grill and Steakhouse
- Sherm's Catering
- Ted’s Montana Grill
- Tonic Bar and Grille
- Ulysses Gastropub
- University & Whist Club
Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy as many burger samples as they can eat. Beer and wine are included in adult tickets; soft drinks will be available for children and designated drivers.
Early-bird tickets are $45 (plus processing fees) through July 25, and $50 through 6 p.m. on Aug. 25 (or until they sell out). Any unsold tickets will be $60 at the door. Tickets are $30 for teens ages 13–20, and $10 for children ages 5–12. Children under 5 can attend free of charge.
