Our 2018 Best of Delaware Party is only hours away, and we couldn't be more excited to showcase dozens of the state's best restaurants and retailers. Below, we're sharing a sneak peek into what some first-time food winners will be showing off.

1. Summer J. Artisan Ice Pops

Our editors' downstate pick for the best summer cooler will be serving four refreshing flavors of its all-natural pops (lemonade, strawberry, blueberry lemonade and strawberry lemonade).

2. Market Street Bakery & Cafe

Our editors' upstate pick for the best smoked salmon bagel not from New York is bringing a variety of goodies. “Obviously we’ll have our delicious smoked salmon bagel with a nice herbal dill cream cheese spread and fresh tomatoes, crisp cucumber and shaved red onion,” says owner and head baker Dominic Petruccelli. Save room for the fluffy cheesy gougères—savory, cream puff-like pastries mixed with Gruyère cheese and baked to a golden perfection. And dessert is not to be missed: plain and caramel-swirled samples of the bakery's “soon-to-be-world-famous cheesecake.”

3. Backyard Jams and Jellies

Our editors' downstate pick for the best handmade preserves will be serving duck meatballs slathered in their Tropical Heat pepper jelly. Guests can also sample their award-winning pepper jellies served over whipped cream cheese on crackers—the perfect party snack!

4. Midnight Oil Brewing Company

Our editors' upstate pick for the best new brewery is bringing three beers for guests to enjoy. Be sure to sample XII (an American pale ale), Hop Envy (a rye IPA) and Sundown (the house Saison).
