After the Oscars, you may feel like staying in and catching up on all the award-winning movies you didn’t get a chance to see this year. But this Saturday isn’t the day to stay in your pajamas, order Grubhub and watch movies because the 4th Annual Beer on Ice event returns to the Delaware State Fairgrounds.
Don’t worry—the ice is covered with carpet—so you won’t be slipping and falling at this event. But there will be plenty of opportunities to eat from vendors like Mojo Loco, The Big Salami and Coach’s Cafe and sip beer and wine from Fordham & Dominion, Big Oyster Brewery, 3rd Wave Brewing, Blue Earl Brewery, Mispillion River Brewing and plenty of other domestic brews as well.
While you are there, don’t miss your chance to take a spin on the Bumper Cars on Ice. Unlimited rides will be available at no charge during the tastings. You can also try KEG curling, a spin on traditional curling.
Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door and include: six beer-tasting tickets, a souvenir mug and a very cool ice rink experience. Designated driver tickets are $15 each and include two sodas and one hot dog from Coach’s Café. Additional beer tickets may be purchased onsite for $2 per ticket.
