Obsessed with Cooking Competitions? Watch a Live One in Wilmington
The Kids Cook Off event on Friday, March 2, promises fun for the whole family.
Do you love shows like Food Network's “Chopped”? Then get off the couch and watch a real-life cooking competition this Friday, March 2, at The University & Whist Club.
The Kids Cook Off event, presented by the Wilmington Flower Market's committee, pairs junior chefs with talented local chefs—including Michael Crispin of The University & Whist Club, Michael Tumolo of Cafe Riviera, and Gretchen Sianni of De La Coeur Café et Pâtisserie and De La Coeur Café et Boulangerie. Dishes will be prepared from a mystery basket of ingredients, and reviewed by a panel of judges.
WSTW’s Mike Rossi will host the event, which will also include a silent auction, plenty of food and a cash bar. Proceeds will benefit the annual Wilmington Flower Market.
Event tickets are $50 per person or $90 per couple, and can be purchased on the Wilmington Flower Market's website.
