Market Kitchen & Bar is infusing homegrown produce into its limited-edition menu item.

One of the best things about summer is the bounty of fresh vegetables and fruits it produces. Which is why Market Kitchen & Bar in Newark has introduced a new garden salad to its menu, featuring fresh ingredients picked from its courtyard garden every morning.
Expect to find watermelon radishes, Japanese and Italian eggplant, sweet and poblano peppers, red and green oak-leaf lettuce, red bibb lettuce and 10 varieties of heirloom tomatoes in your salad. Enjoy it as a side to your lamb burger or lemon-thyme chicken, or make it your entrée by topping it off with locally sourced proteins (like chicken from Bell & Evans in Fredericksburg, Pennsylvania, or steak from Reid Angus in Frankford, Delaware).
This produce is being harvested until Aug. 27, so head to the restaurant before it's too late!
