The Mona Lisa Euro Bistro Makes A Transition

Wilmington’s beloved café moves from Italian to classic European.

Mona Lisa Euro Bistro in Wilmington is now Bistro Jacques—which only makes sense. Belgium native Jacques Macq shifted focus from the Italian fare of the previous owners to European classic when he took over in early 2013, but he didn’t change the name in order to promote continuity. Now firmly established as a European-style bistro, the time for change has come. You’ll find frog legs, garlicky escargots and smoked salmon to start, several styles of mussels, and classic entrées like wiener schnitzel.
